We are sacrificing our money for you!! (No... not really)
So basically, we're all on break because we have APs and plenty of other projects due before the school year. Sorry about the late notice, we were extremely dumb and unprofessional, as my mom put it, to not establish this earlier. We are on break for the month of May! Please no requests, and Angie will do her best to follow up with the emails and Twitter stuff. You see, everyone else on the blog abandoned Angie, so now she's all alone writing this post just for you all... Just so no one forgets us.... *sob, sob, sob*
We also decided to have a giveaway, so you all don't abandon ship with us. For the rest of the month, we'll have a giveaway for two books from the Book Depository $17 or under because the increased prices are making us sad. They can be pre-orders or whatever... just make sure and check that they're under $17 and are available at the Book Depository. Angie gets very mad when people did not check the prices and asked for books that were more than $15 when the last giveaway happened.
Just scroll down my spamming to get the giveaway.
We blame you Amazon completely for this.
I kind of realized that this is quite a negative post, so I decided to give tribute to each of my bloggy mates!
For ~M:
Her obsession with SHINee and Kpop in general frightens me, but here's the latest music video of her gods, SHINee. By the way, I looked it up and it turns out that "shin" in literally means gods in Korean. Guess they're shiny gods with the blessed family jewels... (ha ha, I know this is going to fall flat. Wow.. you guys are all so serious.)
Also it seems like this song's lyrics are about a zombie falling in love with a human. I seriously question whether or not this is true because they're dancing in a white room for a majority of this video.
For Jenny:
Jenny is currently preparing for the AP US History exam that's next Wednesday. She took the SAT II for US History on Saturday and has driven Maya insane by continuously sending her worrisome text messages about the test they took together.
I give Jenny a question to boggle her mind over:
What does "Waving the Big Stick" refer to when describing Theodore Roosevelt's policies?
I also wish to give Jenny her favorite snack.
Didn't realize sticks could be hollow too... until this came along...
For Rosie:
If you're wondering why our blog is covered with pandas... Here's the answer to the question...
(I guess it's kind of shocking that I didn't make a joke involving sexual innuendo this time around, but I really wonder what that panda has in his or her mouth.)
Giveaway:
- International
- Ends 6/1
- Don't forget us!
Goodbye for a month! We will come back better than ever after we take this break to review, test, relax, and catch up on our request list!
Hmmm. I'm not really sure. There are a few books on my TBR that I might consider, but I'm also thinking I'd love a physical copy of For Darkness Shows the Stars which I just read and fell in love with!
