Hiatus for Rest of Month, But Presents!

10 comments:
We are sacrificing our money for you!! (No... not really)

So basically, we're all on break because we have APs and plenty of other projects due before the school year. Sorry about the late notice, we were extremely dumb and unprofessional, as my mom put it, to not establish this earlier. We are on break for the month of May! Please no requests, and Angie will do her best to follow up with the emails and Twitter stuff. You see, everyone else on the blog abandoned Angie, so now she's all alone writing this post just for you all... Just so no one forgets us.... *sob, sob, sob*

We also decided to have a giveaway, so you all don't abandon ship with us. For the rest of the month, we'll have a giveaway for two books from the Book Depository $17 or under because the increased prices are making us sad. They can be pre-orders or whatever... just make sure and check that they're under $17 and are available at the Book Depository. Angie gets very mad when people did not check the prices and asked for books that were more than $15 when the last giveaway happened.

Five Summers by Una LaMarche
Publish Date: May 16th 2013
Publisher: Razorbill
Pre-Order: Amazon / Barnes&Noble / The Book Depository

Four best friends, five summers of camp memories

The summer we were nine: Emma was branded “Skylar’s friend Emma” by the infamous Adam Loring . . .
The summer we were ten: Maddie realized she was too far into her lies to think about telling the truth . . .
The summer we were eleven : Johanna totally freaked out during her first game of Spin the Bottle . . .
The summer we were twelve : Skylar’s love letters from her boyfriend back home were exciting to all of us—except Skylar . . .
Our last summer together: Emma and Adam almost kissed. Jo found out Maddie’s secret. Skylar did something unthinkable . . . and whether we knew it then or not, five summers of friendship began to fall apart. Three years after the fateful last night of camp, the four of us are coming back to camp for reunion weekend—and for a second chance. Bittersweet, funny, and achingly honest, Five Summers is a story of friendship, love, and growing up that is perfect for fans of Anne Brashares and Judy Blume's Summer Sisters.--Goodreads

The End Games by T. Michael Martin
Publish Date: May 7th 2013
Publisher: HarperCollins
Pre-Order: Amazon / B&N / TBD
It happened on Halloween.
The world ended.

And a dangerous Game brought it back to life.

Seventeen-year-old Michael and his five-year-old brother, Patrick, have been battling monsters in The Game for weeks.

In the rural mountains of West Virginia, armed with only their rifle and their love for each other, the brothers follow Instructions from the mysterious Game Master. They spend their days searching for survivors, their nights fighting endless hordes of “Bellows”—creatures that roam the dark, roaring for flesh. And at this Game, Michael and Patrick are very good.

But The Game is changing.

The Bellows are evolving.

The Game Master is leading Michael and Patrick to other survivors—survivors who don’t play by the rules.

And the brothers will never be the same.

T. Michael Martin’s debut novel is a transcendent thriller filled with electrifying action, searing emotional insight, and unexpected romance.  --Goodreads
